Public Visuals & Friends

On September 2nd we had the pleasure of hosting Public Visuals & Friends for a truly a remarkable day bringing together 16 audiovisual performance acts from Japan & NYC. Audio and visual techniques were wide ranging, and attendees experienced some of the best live code and VJ artists from Public Visuals and Live Code NYC. Visual techniques ranged from audio reactive Max MSP, Hydra, live coded visuals, material manipulation, and more. Audio techniques ranged from live coded Sonic Pi, to harsh noise, to live instrumentation, and combinations of all of the above.
